More MILK (Maternal Impact, Leadership, & Knowledge) is a non-profit organization that normalizes and protects breastfeeding through healthy maternal starts and outcomes. We provide a variety of programs and resources for new parents and healthcare providers, including workshops and classes to promote breastfeeding education. Additionally, we actively advocate for breastfeeding-friendly policies and improved maternal health outcomes. Our commitment is to empower mothers and families through education and community support, ensuring the best start for every child.

Meet the Founder

Tenise N. Hordge, Founder and Executive Director, is dedicated to driving positive change within the community. She is passionate about removing stigmas and educating on the benefits of breastfeeding and the healing role human milk plays in our current public health crisis. She hopes that by removing breastfeeding stigmas, health disparities can be eliminated through both empowerment and education.
Tenise N. Hordge holds a Doctoral in Healthcare Administration, a Master's in Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. She is also a Program Management Professional and an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant. She is a happily married mother of two small children and enjoys spending quality time with her family.
